Tania Fiolleau was a prostitute for several years and then fell deeper into the sex industry. She eventually owned several brothels with hundreds of girls working for her. But this lifestyle took its toll. She made a deal with God Whom she hadn’t seen. Watch this video to find out what happened next.
Tanaya Fiyallu urgently needed money to pay for the services of a lawyer in a lawsuit for the right of guardianship. Therefore, she took a step that she herself did not expect from herself - she began to sell her body. And soon after that, it seemed to her that she had sold her soul.
“I always wanted to be loved and sought to gain approval from my father. In our family, violence was considered something normal. I constantly ran into him,” recalls Tanaya.
The only time the alcoholic father paid attention to Tanya Fiyalla was when he beat her. And when the girl was eleven years old, Canadian social services put her mother before a choice: a husband or a child.
“I was so hurt when, in the courtroom, my mother chose not me, but my father, and allowed me to go to a foster family. I felt betrayed. During the year I visited thirteen foster families and shelters. I literally did not have time to unpack my suitcases, ”the woman shares her childhood memories.
Throughout her youth, Tenaya was under the care of the state, and at the age of seventeen she herself gave birth. When she was twenty years old, she became pregnant again and married: “I married a man who looked like my father. Every day he called me a fool, an ugly and useless wife. I felt like I didn't deserve anyone's love."
Fleeing from abuse, Tanaya moved with the children to a women's shelter, but her husband began to seek custody of the children in court. The woman needed seven thousand dollars for a lawyer. She began to look for work and came across an ad in the newspaper.
That ad said, “Earning $1,500 a day. Friendly women's team, interesting work, comfortable working conditions. After reading this, she thought, “Wow! Does this really happen?
It turned out it happens. This pleasant and interesting work was prostitution. Tanya agreed.
“I remember returning home after the first night of work with a salary of one thousand seven hundred dollars, I immediately went to the shower and tried to wash off something for a very long time. I felt so dirty to myself,” Tanaya says.
Tanaya worked as a prostitute for several years and even made a career in the sex industry. Over time, she became the owner of several brothels in which hundreds of girls worked for her.
But the new way of life came at a heavy price to Tanya: “My spirit was broken. On the outside it seemed that everything was fine with me, but inside I was devastated. There was an emptiness in my soul, and I no longer wanted to live. Each new client seems to break off a piece from your soul, so that over time you begin to resemble a living corpse.”
Litigation for the right of guardianship lasted four years. The judges and reporters had become aware of Tanaya's occupation, and her chances of obtaining custody of the children were negligible - and the woman knew it. And then she made a deal with God.
“All my life I was angry with God: “If there is a God, then why did I have such a difficult childhood?” But I remembered my grandmother telling me on her deathbed, "Tanaiya, you must dedicate your life to God." And I said, “God is a fool. I hate God." She said, “God never turned his back on you, Tanaya. It was you who turned away from Him. But He will always be by your side." So one night I knelt down and cried. I said, “God, I don't love You. Not only that, I hate you. Why did all this happen to me? But I constantly hear about You, and if You give me the right of custody of the children, then I will believe that You exist, because such a decision of the court will be a miracle. If You do that, then I will give You my life.”
And when she woke up in the morning, Tanaya picked up a fresh newspaper and read: "Pornom Mom got sole custody." She thought: “If this right is given to porn stars, then maybe I have a chance.” And a little further down she read: "Tenaya Fiyallu received sole custody." Her heart almost stopped, and Tanaya started calling her lawyer. He said, "I didn't have a chance to call you because I was in court all this time."
“It was God who gave me sole custody,” says Tanaya. She kept her promise. Tanaya closed her brothels and retired from the sex industry. She gave her life to God and began to go to church.
“God is always there. He holds out his hand to us, but we do not take it. Looking back, I realize that God has always been with me. I turned my back on him. But it is worth turning to God, and He will answer. He can take all your difficulties and hardships and turn them into His own glory,” Tenaya shares his spiritual experience with joy.
Now, to the same women she worked with in the brothels, Tanaya talks about the hope she found in Jesus Christ.
“All these women are sold and bought every day, they have no hope, but then I see how they come to Christ and receive salvation. There is no greater joy than knowing that God used me to deliver them. Now that the Lord has come into my life, I know that I have a purpose and a calling. I know that I deserve to be loved, and I am sure that there is a God, Jesus, who loves me so much that I can’t even imagine.”
